COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT , Facilities-Campus Construction , to perform diverse duties for the Director, project planning and staff within Campus Construction's Project Planning department. Will provide administrative and office support to a seven-member planning team, including layout design and data visualization for monthly financial reports, system subcommittee reports, and annual reports to the executive committee on the Capital Renewal Program; enhance existing and create new templates, graphics, reports (such as HVAC systems subcommittee), and presentation layouts; provide quality control and assist in finalizing reports, graphics, and communications; proofread materials and edit communications; schedule meetings and maintain Project Planning director's calendar; provide assistance with e-Builder database; maintain filing systems; attend team meetings and take minutes; and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED : a high school diploma or professional certificate in graphics or design; at least three years' communications and/or administrative experience in an office environment; ability to organize data, create clever data graphics, and create pivot tables and charts in Excel; strong organizational skills; ability to balance multiple priorities while paying attention to detail and quality delivery; ability to create clean clear data visualizations; experience creating meeting minutes and letters and formatting complex Word documents; and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in particular) and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat in particular).
