Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing or Social Work required.Â Preferred Masterâs in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Health or related field preferred.

Minimum Field of Expertise:
Degree in public relations, human resources/personnel management, psychology, counseling or related field.Â
Seven yearsâ experience in healthcare including three years of managerial/supervisorial responsibilities.Â
Thorough knowledge of public relations, volunteer administration, and motivational and psychological techniques of handling peoplesâ needs and behavior.Â
Thorough knowledge of hospital organizational structures, physicians and their expertise and services and patientsâ disabilities and needs.
Thorough knowledge of community resources available through community groups and foundations.
Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, managers, staff, volunteers, auxiliary member, community and volunteer organizations, media and general public.
Certificate in patient experience leadership from the Beryl Institute within 6 months of hire.
Fire and Safety Certification.Â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â Certified Patient Experience Professional certification (CPXP) required within 12 months of hire.
This position provides strategic direction, leadership, and planning, organizational and general management for all aspects of the Friends of Keck Medicine program which includes VIP services, the Keck Hospital Sky Garden operations, Keck Suites at Currie Hall, the annual Choi Gala and Awards and our Beryl Institute health system membership. Incumbent is responsible for development, implementation and ongoing success of related services and organizational objectives and goals.Responsible for identifying grateful patients and initiate handoff to development officers.Responsible for the budget, development, planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation/improvement of these multiple services and programs across the health system. Is responsible for development and implementation of operating and administrative policies and procedures, program evaluation, and quality assurance.
