The Sales Associate at ExperiencePlus! is responsible for managing sales and customer inquiries for all bike tours. They plan, create and execute sales and lead campaigns with the support of the Marketing and Custom Tour /Tour Development team. Organize tour information and pre sale customer communication. Help coordinate and manage sales initiatives with distribution partners. Participates in the strategic planning and loves to think about how to increase sales and reach the right demographic to spread the word about our bike tours.
Handle telephone and email inquiries and sales for EP tours and helps get people excited about what the right tour might be for them.
Manage information requests in our database and all lead management for tours.
Closely works with Marketing and Custom Tour Manager/Tour Development to plan and execute sales campaigns for specific tours and destinations.
Works with marketing on print advertising, including placement, cost and design
Assists with the assembly, distribution and analysis of tour evaluations as well as replying to customers after their tour.
Works with customer service and reservations to make sure all details about each sale are clear.
Coordinates with partners who sell tours and makes sure they have updated information.
Updates website itineraries as necessary.
Support Custom Tour Manager as needed
Excited to talk to people about their next vacation.
3 - 4 years experience working in the adventure tourism space preferable.
Great phone presence.
Able to communicate easily through email and to understand the needs of the customer to make sure they are paired up with the right trip.
Interested, experienced and excited about bicycle travel.
Experienced with sales, sales planning and executing with key goals and strategies in mind.
Understands the power of travel and how it can transform people and wants to share that with others.
A demonstrated ability to manage details, think outside the box, and work in a cross-cultural environment
Self-starter with proven decision making and problem solving ability.
Detail oriented and quick at learning new systems and technology.
