Facilities Services is recruiting for two Construction Managers. In conjunction with end users, the Construction Manager will be responsible for the field management, development and implementation of CSU Public Works Projects overseen by Facilities Services. Responsibilities include the oversight and construction management of new, renovation, and remodeling, projects to ensure that projects meet schedule, budget / cost parameters, constructed in accordance with plans and specifications, coordinating daily construction progress meetings, routing of Request for Information, tracking and reviewing submittals, oversee document control process, issuance of field instructions, negotiating change orders, and assure construction management is in compliance with State University Administrative Manual requirements.
The Construction Manager will establish a comprehensive, continuously improving, and proactive construction management, and implementation process ensuring the timely involvement of on and off campus University stakeholders and project delivery team members to effectively and efficiently manage the application of public works projects and contracts implemented by Facilities Services.
