Carleton College seeks to hire a Development Officer or Senior Development Officer. This is a tremendous opportunity for both the experienced fundraising professional as well as one with a related skill set who is hoping for a career move into mission-driven work. The ideal candidate must be committed to the values of a liberal arts education, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and possess the ability to directly solicit gifts. This individual must have experience and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across an organization, including engaging multiple types of stakeholders in donor cultivation and solicitation. Experience in Development is desirable, applicants will need 7 or more years of experience in fundraising and capital campaigns to be considered for the Senior Development Officer.
