Delaware Electric Cooperative, a progressive utility serving more than 100,000 homes, farms and businesses, is searching for an energetic and self-driven Manger of Public Relations and Community Affairs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating our consumers about energy, safety and the cooperative difference. The Manager of Public Relations and Community Affairs will serve as a spokesperson for the Cooperative and be responsible for the planning of all public programs and events, including press conferences, school programs and member and community meetings. The desired candidate must have a four-year degree as well as five years of experience in journalism, communications, business administration, education or public relations. Qualified candidates must have excellent presentation and computer skills and be able to work independently to complete assigned projects.
