The NC Principals and Assistant Principals' Association (NCPAPA) is looking for a multi-talented individual to serve as a part-time Program Coordinator who will assist and work in partnership with the NCPAPA team to accomplish the associations' mission and goals.

It also believes that strong positive administrative leadership is the determining factor in the quality of that education. NCPAPA is dedicated to the implementation of these beliefs.
Our Goals: • To promote achievement of the educational objectives of the State of North Carolina with emphasis on the welfare and needs of all children. • To promote the unity, professional growth protection and general welfare of the principals and assistant principals in North Carolina. • To provide a mechanism by which principals, assistant principals, teachers, and other educators can improve education and educational leadership for the State of North Carolina.
Position Description: The program coordinator will work with staff members and procedures to ensure the implementation and success of NCPAPA programs. This position will work collaboratively in a part-time capacity with the NCPAPA team to meet the association goals including:
• Implementing, managing, and coordinating professional development projects and events to assure quality and cost effectiveness • Coordinating and supporting contractors to meet program goals • Designing and coordinating program announcements, website updates, application processes, and registration/payment processes • Maintaining records and curriculum materials and performing other administrative tasks as required
Requirements include: Minimum of two years post-secondary education and previous experience in communications, education, public relations, non-profit management or other related experience is required. Previous experience working in education, communications, and event management with a non-profit organization are preferred qualifications.
