Associates play an essential role on the Whiteboard Advisors team as individuals responsible for supporting the day to day work of W/A experts and providing outstanding customer service to Whiteboard’s clients.
Associates typically support a portfolio of 5-7 clients of varying degrees of demand by helping to plan and execute meetings and conference calls, establishing a project plan and managing their teams to meet agreed upon deadlines. Associates serve as frontline researchers who gather information and develop summaries of findings for colleagues and clients. These members of the team also develop first drafts of written documents such as press releases and op-eds, and are responsible for guiding those documents through to publication.
As front line leaders within the organization, Associates are responsible for providing timely, accurate communication via various channels to their colleagues and to clients. The ability to synthesize information into quickly digestible action steps is essential. Communications Associates are primarily responsible for supporting the firm’s strategic communications and PR accounts by drafting content, assisting with client management and communications, and pitching content to appropriate outlets.
Associates also collaborate closely with individuals from across the team, and they are responsible for building an understanding of the resources available to them among peers and organizational leaders and advisors to conduct novel and complex operations quickly.
Responsibilities will include a full range of activities that will grow in level of responsibility based upon each individual’s growth and development. Associates typically grow from supporting to leading projects, from assisting other project managers to managing projects directly, and from simpler tasks to more complex ones over time.
