Zurich is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join the Group Communications team in a critical role. As a Communications Manager, you will be right at the forefront of communicating the Zurich story across the organization and shaping the experience of our employees and leaders through innovative approaches.
No day is ever the same and you will be expected to be on top of the Group's strategy and related initiatives, a digital expert and a passionate communicator.
You provide impactful communications advisory and tactical execution services that measurably drive business growth and engage employees. Your role is also crucial to the day-to-day running of the Employee Communications function.

As a Communications Manager (m/f) your main responsibilities will include:
Working closely with the Communications Partners and Managers, supporting the execution of communications for our internal accounts that cover topics relating to Risk, Sustainability, Claims, Operations and Natural Hazards.
Ensuring your communications support strategy execution and stakeholder priorities with an emphasis on internal communications and social media
Leveraging digital tools and produce creative content for integrated communications approach
Generating measurable results from communication activity in helping achieve business objectives and contributing to strategic and innovative thinking and ideas, working with Communications Partners, Senior Managers and peers to improve communication, return on investment and impact
Ensuring consistency and co-ordination of communication messages
Providing manager with timely updates on status of deliverables for customers
Duties will evolve based on your accomplishments, insights and capacity
Your Skills and Experience
As a Communications Manager (m/f) your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Corporate Communications/PR or comparable qualification
At last three years of experience in communications role
Digital mindset and proactive attitude to drive next-generation technology and features such as Workplace by Facebook, our internal social media tool, to transform communications, culture and workflows inside organization
Experience of working in the insurance, financial services or risk industries preferred
Ability to adopt and experiment with new digital and social media tools and platforms, incorporating digital strategy into overall communications efforts in line with organization's strategic priority
Ability to articulate a position or perspective clearly across all communications with knowledge of integrated communications strategy and measuring impact
Superior ability to cope with multiple tasks simultaneously while still delivering high quality, aligned output
Ability to identify KPIs to track ROI related to communications strategy and campaigns
Proven ability to support large-scale transformation programs and innovation
Native English speaker with expert writing and editing skills; exceptional attention to detail; German is an advantage
