The Mailman School of Public Health's Office of Communications is looking for a part-time student employee to assist the Editorial Director, Strategic Communications with editorial, public relations, and digital communications tasks, which will include: conducting research, covering events, updating email accounts, and writing and editing webpages, social media posts, e-newsletters, other emails, and media clips reports. In addition to a variety of long-term and short-term communications projects, as well as some general office duties. The ideal incumbent will be computer savvy, have good written and oral communications skills and be detail-oriented. Social media and project management skills required. S/he should be comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with a content management system (CMS), email and social media management applications (Hootsuite and MailChimp), Adobe products (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Premiere), and photography/videography is a plus. The schedule is flexible. The student may be able to start over the summer. During the school year, we will accommodate classes, but we are looking for 10-15 hours per week
