In support of New York Military Academy's mission, the Director of Development is responsible to support the Academy's objectives in implementing and coordinating all aspects of the Development Plan to include major gifts, campaign and other fundraising efforts. Applicant should be able to identify, cultivate and solicit individual and corporate donors; developing long-range plans for assigned portfolios that support the Academy's Financial Strategic Plan. This position will also be responsible for overseeing processing of all gift income and maintain all record keeping on giving donors.
The Director of Development will develop a complete program of research into and an action plan of solicitation of the school's key prospects and will develop a plan to increase alumni and parental support. This position will be responsible for coordinating publications and printing program which will most effectively communicate NYMA's various constituencies. The Development Director will supervise the Development Department, which includes Alumni Office and Public Relations office staff and budgets.
