Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator I for Division of Student Affairs' Parent Engagement Program. This position reports to the Director of Development for Student Affairs. The Program Coordinator I provides programmatic and administrative support for the Division of Student Affairs' Parent Engagement Program. This program seeks to engage otherwise unaffiliated Rutgers – New Brunswick parents in the work of the Division of Student Affairs through local and regional events, ambassadorships, and consistent communication.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Contributes to the production of print and digital content for various Student Affairs constitutes groups and lend support to other Division functions as needed.
Executes the Division's donor stewardship plan to include annual impact reports, custom thank you letters and postcards.
In conjunction with the Division of Student Affairs' Communications and Marketing Department, coordinates print and digital content on behalf the Development Office.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public relations, communication, or a related field.
A minimum of two years related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Relevant experience in a promotions/event planning, volunteer management, public relations, fundraising, or marketing functions
Good communication, persuasion, and diplomatic skill
Strong computer literacy to include industry standard software
