Manage day-to-day departmental and student production, media, audio, and visual operations for department. Manage all CIT and facilities media-related needs. Manage partnership and act as liaison with TSOA Film & TV Department to ensure all production needs are met. Develop departmental policies and ensure adherence to industry standards. Develop and implement online initiatives and manage accessibility requirements for department website. Consult with faculty, School and University administrators to plan facility enhancements, transitions to new technologies and curricular changes. Serve as liaison to industry professionals, developing and cultivating relationships to benefit the academic and artistic goals of the department. Produce and project manage departmental film shoots, graphic design, and media projects for marketing and promotion. Supervise staff.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in media-related fields
Required Experience: 3+ years of film or media production operations management and staff supervision experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include proficiency with digital video cameras and digital editing, website management, sound equipment, etc.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years Experience in an academic and/or production environment. Prior experience in Wordpress or web editor.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and project management skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem solving and negotiating skills. Proficiency with a wide range of current production technologies. Ability to direct, evaluate and implement a variety of operations and activities
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of current and emerging technologies regarding professional film, television and media production; equipment use.
