Under the Director of Admissions Communications & Marketing, the admissions communications assistant will create content and communication workflows within the admissions CRM. The position is responsible for developing and reporting digital analytics within the CRM system and for recommending and making changes to communications plans as needed to ensure the successful recruitment of the incoming class. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate admissions and enrollment-related content on the University website and on multiple third party sites that represent Georgian Court. A key role is the support of all work of the director in relationship to written content and messaging in Slate (CRM) and other printed and digital content.
Creating and implementing admissions marketing communications including the CRM communication strategies, website and all digital platforms, print and electronic materials in close collaboration with the Enrollment Leadership Team.
Copy writing, editing, and developing key message points for a variety of publication purposes, but specifically for CRM communication.
Writing and editing of copy for a variety of University publications including enrollment materials, brochures, posters, and digital communications, ensuring those publications adhere to GCU's brand guidelines and institutional key messages.
Use A/B testing to measure effectiveness and adjust messaging content and schedule. Regularly report on messaging effectiveness.
Use digital and multi-platform marketing to increase active engagement with prospective students.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field.
Must have excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
Must have impeccable spelling and grammar
Must have a deep understanding of prospective students and their influencers and what motivates them online
Able to develop and create content for print, digital media (including email and social media)
Able to produce well-researched and accurate content on tight deadlines
Able to communicate with leadership, clients, and potential interview sources
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and communication technologies to recruit and enroll students.
The preferred but not required qualifications for this position are:
Knowledge of HTML, ping, UTM codes, photography, and SEO a plus
Experience with WordPress
Strong quantitative and data analysis skills and the ability to use data to make decisions.
Preferred knowledge of Slate CRM
