340B Health has an immediate opening for a Government Relations Internship at our growing non-profit health care trade association. This position reports directly to the Grassroots and Advocacy Manager.
340B Health seeks an intern to work part time (20+ hours per week) on issues that affect hospitals participating in the Federal 340B drug discount program. This is an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand how an association government relations team operates.
Monitor and summarize congressional hearings as needed
Support government relations team in outreach to Capitol Hill
Other government relations duties as assigned
A previous internship on Capitol Hill or trade association
An interest in the political process and federal policy
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical, writing, and communications skills
A positive attitude and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
