Seeking an individual to take initiative and pay close attention to detail, be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to support the administration of gifts, grants, and contracts from corporate, foundation, and organizational partners, work with American Academy of Pediatric (AAP) staff to fulfill grant and contract terms, deliver sponsorship benefits, and other donor expectations critical to building productive relationships, provide administrative, scheduling, and project support to the Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations, and prepare presentations, reports, and promotional material need to cultivate, solicit, and steward this group of donors.
Must have a Bachelors degree in communications, business, public relations, marketing, or related discipline required, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience, 2-3 years’ related project coordination and/or administrative experience, including drafting communication materials, preparing and interpreting reports and data trends, independently managing project components among internal and external teams, creating and maintaining tracking systems, and coordinating meetings with executives/VIPs, some experience with donor relations or sponsorship management required, experience with grant and contracts applications strongly preferred, must have strong technical acumen with proficiency in MS Office, database applications, fundraising software (eg, Luminate), and budget/financial systems and the ability to learn and apply new technologies; experience with web maintenance software (eg, SharePoint), collaboration/document management platforms (eg, SharePoint), web conferencing software (eg, WebEx), and Adobe Acrobat, preferred. Some overtime, evening/weekend work, and travel may be required.
