Utica College is currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach online and on ground in all disciplines to support programmatic and enrollment growth. There is an immediate need to hire for the Fall semester in the following disciplines:
Adjunct Lecturer of Psychology: PSY321: Infancy and Childhood (on-ground) Monday and Thursday evenings.
Adjunct Lecturer of Sports Management: SPM 101: Introduction to Sports Management (on-ground, TR 2pm-3:15pm); SPM 396: Sports Marketing Communications and Promotion (on-ground, MF 12pm-1:15pm); SPM 397: Sports Event Planning and Management (on ground, MWF 11am-11:50am); SPM/PRL 458: Sports Law (on-ground, TR 1pm-2:15pm)
**Sports Management courses will be listed under Journalism/Public Relations in the application.
Adjunct Lecturer of Computer Science: CSC 117: Microcomputers and Application Software (on-ground)
Adjunct Lecturer of Chemistry: CHE 363: Biochemistry (on-ground)
Adjunct Lecturer of Physics: PHY 151: General Physics I- Mechanics, Heat, and Waves (on ground); and PHY 152: General Physics II-Electricity Magnetism and Optics (on-ground).
Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Nursing: To teach at local healthcare facilities (Utica/Rome/Syracuse) as a clinical instructor for Med/Surgical, Maternal Child, Pediatrics, Psych Nursing and Long Term Care.
