The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement will be responsible for developing and maintaining alumni relationships by managing targeted young alumni programs, directing student outreach and mentoring programs, leading alumni career development initiatives, supporting programming in the academic units, and coordinating alumni communications. In addition, this position will manage the OU Alumni Association Scholarship Program and all alumni association affinity partner programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or Communication or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum three years experience in higher education, marketing, public relations or a related field. Ability to work with diverse constituency of donors, alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students and community leaders and manage multiple projects. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed.
