The Employer Outreach Specialist reports to the Associate Director, Employer Partnerships and participates in strategic planning for employer relations. This includes assisting in the execution of employer outreach and engagement strategies to increase career and internship opportunities for students and alumni.
Proactive, creative, critical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to listen carefully and communicate tactfully, a must for relating effectively with employers, the public, campus partners, and the Career Services team.

Ability to prioritize work during peak work flow periods and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail while being flexible to meet the needs of employers and students.

Knowledgeable and skilled in operating systems, database management, web maintenance, social networking, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and PDF document format.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Higher Education, Human Resources, Communications/Public Relations or a related field and two years of professional experience in post-secondary higher education, career services, business, public relations or human resources recruiting. Master’s degree preferred.
