The Department of Health Services Management and Policy at the East Tennessee State University College of Public Health is recruiting a full-time Communication Specialist. This position is funded by a multi-year research grant focused on reducing unintended pregnancy and expanding access to reproductive health services. Responsible for the editing and formatting of documents across multiple research projects to ensure professional, clear, and consistent messaging; Coordinating with faculty and staff to prepare reports, manuscripts, fact sheets, and other dissemination products; Creating and designing of research branding strategy and online presence; Working closely with project leaders to develop and implement dissemination and communication plans for internal and external stakeholders; Managing outreach, promotion, and dissemination of results including managing website and social media accounts; Serving as the primary point of contact for partners requesting information about dissemination products and research activities; Performing other related duties as assigned.
The Communication Specialist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of investigators, staff, and research assistants.
