Direct, design, develop, and plan all technical aspects for learning media at the Kelley School of Business. Collaborate with partners from other schools and departments, along with deans, faculty and staff to deliver emerging technologies to enhance the classroom media experience. Work directly with faculty, staff, and students to understand their needs; develop strategic plans through collaboration with senior programmers, designers, faculty chairs, UITS, deans, and other subject-matter experts. Responsible for collaborating, directing, and ensuring successful delivery of school-wide media initiatives including responsibility for digital asset management, technical architecture for classroom media, process and workflow improvement, and the direction of the media team. Show initiative, creativity and innovation in the development of stable, maintainable, and efficient media and technical solutions.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Telecommunication, Media Production, or related field and four years of experience with advanced digital media, live streaming, producing and directing professional level multimedia pieces along with a year managing medium to large scale projects involving technology and digital media.
Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.
Experience working with a diversified team that supports multiple facets of technology and multimedia. Knowledge of Digital Asset Management, Content Management Systems, RTP streaming protocols, nonlinear post-production editing, media codecs (h264, h263, h262, FLV), HTTP, CSS, lighting, audio & camera concepts and techniques. Demonstrates the ability to handle and manage multiple projects on tight timelines. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication. Knowledge of standard management tools including excel, SharePoint, and basic project management techniques. Candidates may be asked to share a showreel during interview.
Masters or advanced degree. Post-production skills including After Effects, Illustrator, Cinema 4D and Mocha. Experience with virtual sets, branching video design, and audio mixing.
