Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this position is to strategize, implement and maintain strategic communication campaigns for undergraduate recruitment and enrollment processes across multiple platforms. Duties includes but not limited to:
Develop and maintain direct marketing and communication strategies (mailing, email, text, web content) for the purpose of recruiting undergraduate students from all territories and geo-markets in North Carolina as well as key out-of-state markets.
Collaborate with mailhouses to maintain physical mailing schedules to prospective students for the purposes of search and yield campaigns.
Implement seamless communications campaigns through the CRM, ensuring necessary follow-up and outreach to prospective students from initial contact to enrollment and monitor analytics to determine if target markets are engaging as intended.
Create and assist in the monitoring of strategic call/text campaigns during strategic points in the enrollment funnel.
Provide University Communications with the necessary input to develop the team's recruitment publications (for the purposes of travel and mailings) each cycle and ensure that print bids and publication projects are implemented and maintained in a timely and orderly fashion to secure timely deliveries.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for the purpose of inquiry generation and content management (YouVisit, Cappex, Hobsons, etc.).
Oversee the Office of Admissions social networking presence (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) and explore new channels as necessary.
Develop and maintain web and portal content and monitor web analytics to ensure relevance of posted content.
Assist with the recruitment, selection, and training students who field incoming calls, execute outgoing call campaigns, and create student-generated content (social media, blogs, etc.) for recruitment purposes.
Develop, maintain, and analyze assessments with respect to the effectiveness of the all communication and marketing campaigns as well as general audience engagement.
Attend conferences and webinars as necessary to maintain current understanding of trends in higher education recruitment.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience with communication practices, especially in Higher Education.
Three years previous college/university experience working with and in higher education arenas and extensive knowledge of post-secondary education admissions requirements.
Advanced understanding of admissions application policies and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with best practices for recruitment of diverse/ underrepresented students.
Supervisory experience, particularly of college students.
Experience with using web-based Content Management Systems.
Experience with student information systems, including Banner applications, admissions application policies and procedures, and data analysis.
Extensive experience with marketing data analysis.

Work Schedule/Hours: Mon. - Fri., 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (occasional weekends for Admissions events)
