•Plans, schedules, and implements fundraising and prospect development projects and programs, including specific fundraising programs such as The Big Give and the Student Campaign. Ensures that predetermined fundraising goals are met. •Identifies, cultivates, solicits and/or stewards donors, alumni and friends. •Tracks and measures AF performance metrics and ensures that predetermined fundraising and alumni relations goals are met. •Provides analysis and information of complex results or activities, and makes recommendations to senior leadership for program changes or additions. •Assists in detailed planning of fund development and annual solicitation programs and uses the CADS database to support these strategies and plans. •Participates in short and long-range strategic planning and prepares the Annual Fund annual budget. •Working with the DAR team, the Director designs, organizes, and provides strategic direction for a variety of special events. •Coordinates and oversees the work of support staff and/or other professionals.•Thorough working knowledge and understanding of fundraising, donor relations and public relations concepts, principles, techniques, procedures and practices. •Thorough working knowledge of the campus, including its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure. •Thorough knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, et cetera. •Thorough written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including political acumen, to build and maintain effective working relationship at all organizational levels and with outside constituencies. •Thorough analytical and critical thinking skills, including skill in creative and effective decision-making and problem identification/avoidance/resolution. •Thorough project management skills. •Skills to meet or exceed fundraising goals and objectives. •Education/Training: Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
