AIIM is the global community of intelligent information management professionals who are leading their organizations on their digital transformation journeys. We are a small, but passionate and influential association, seeking to employ a full-time individual to lead our online community's engagement and development efforts.
We are nothing without the engagement and trust of our community members. We see our online community as the hub for all of our association's activities. This role will require the right individual to juggle many balls at once and collaborate with the program, marketing, and sales teams to weave our value proposition into elements of the community.
This role is integral to our strategic mission in making the necessary connections between the online community and our various educational products, including in-person events, training/certification, and research.
We are looking for a passionate and eager individual who can demonstrate the following:

Knowledge of marketing best practices, particularly in content marketing and communication
Understanding of how to handle a public relations crisis (just in case) or mediation between members

Cool, stable demeanor (someone who knows not to feed the trolls)
Willingness to host a variety of webinars, meetings, and calls with different stakeholders
Excellent decision-making abilities
Able to translate strategic goals for the community into actionable items

Strong relationship-building skills
Excellent bridge-building skills and consensus-building both internally in the company and online
Experience effectively prioritizing jobs, questions, and interactions for the most powerful engagement opportunities
A passion for, and strong understanding of community management practices with 2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to multitask and meet time-sensitive goals
Recommend and implement engagement tactics, including incorporating community into organization programming, communications strategy, annual conferences and events
Conduct annual performance evaluation and establish goals to support continuing community growth and any new organizational initiatives
Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, or writing an email newsletter)
Experience of working with and/or in the Higher Logic Community Platform would be preferred.
Key responsibilities will include;
Recommending and implementing engagement tactics, including incorporating community into organization programming, communications strategy, annual conferences and events
Conducting annual performance evaluations and establishing goals to support continuing community growth and any new organizational initiatives
Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
Monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews
Building relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
Hosting community webinars, committees and online events
Designing and managing community engagement services, experiences and initiatives
Managing implementation of episodic group volunteer experiences that support community and association goals
