PROGRAM MANAGER, NEWDIGS INITIATIVE , Center for Biomedical Innovation (CBI) , to work closely with the Executive director to ensure smooth operations on a rapidly expanding range of activities centered on an emerging model of Adaptive Biomedical Innovation. Will develop and manage relationships with key internal (MIT) and external stakeholders; manage projects; edit documents written by multistakeholder, co-author teams; identify funding opportunities and support grant proposals; manage the interactions with the executive committee and work closely with senior level collaboration partners globally; assist with the development of new projects, including contributions to program design and budget development to ensure appropriate infrastructure for success, vetting documents, and engaging communications and public relations support to disseminate objectives and findings from initiatives; interact closely with MIT administrative, legal, and other support services as issues arise; manage the budget, ensure timely billing of consortium accounts; and develop, with partners at Office of Sponsored Programs, the appropriate agreements to enable project objectives; and negotiate with potential consortium members to ensure a continued level of funding while meeting both party objectives.
REQUIRED : a bachelor's degree (master's or MBA preferred); at least five years' experience in a related field; experience managing virtual collaboration teams, facilitating communications, and negotiating and problem solving proactively; experience creating new programs and refining operations in support of larger and sometimes shifting strategic goals; experience effectively relating to a wide array of constituents including senior faculty, sponsors, and other stakeholders; and ability to negotiate with sensitivity in cross-cultural contexts.
