Seeking a full time Vice President/CFO to provide executive financial leadership for Greencroft Communities (GC). Reporting to the President/CEO duties include but are not limited to being responsible for all funds & insurance programs (except medical expense plan); develop, analyze, and interpret investment and operational needs; coordinate and administer budgeting process and financial plan for all entities; provide oversight for finance division of GC; provide functional direction, coordination, and financial advice to President/CEO and respective Vice Presidents; assist President/CEO in other special activities and responsibilities as required; provide leadership for financial matters for all GC Boards and Directors; take lead in developing business plans, evaluations for new business opportunities for GC; serve as a member of the Executive Management Group; and complete various other functions as needed.
Scope of Responsibility: Provide executive financial leadership for Greencroft Communities (GC), GC subsidiaries and managed entities. Develop, analyze, and interpret needs, including both investment and operational needs. Responsible in all matters to protect the reputation of Greencroft Communities, and those served.
Essential Functions: ____A. Carry out duties and function to support Greencroft Communities as assigned. ____B. Live the mission and values to improve the quality of services for residents and team members on the Greencroft Communities campus. ____C. Respect residents’ rights and adhere to rules of resident care and services as described in the Greencroft Communities Employee Handbook. ____D. Responsible for all funds, and is responsible for all insurance programs, except the medical expense plan. ____E. Recommend to the Greencroft Communities Board of Directors appropriate investment policies. ____F. Coordinate and administer the budgeting process and the financial plan for all entities served together with the necessary controls and procedures. ____G. Provide oversight for finance division of GC, including assembling, supervising, supporting and training all accounting/financial staff. ____H. Provide functional direction, coordination and financial advice to the president and the respective vice presidents. ____I. Establish and implement a sound financial plan in direct support of strategic business plans of the organization. ____J. Keep the president informed of the divisions' performances and provides advice on all financial matters. ____K. Execute cash disbursements for payment of corporation expenditures in accordance with disbursement policies. ____L. Assist the president in other special activities and responsibility as required. ____M. Provide monthly and quarterly reports to the president. ____N. Provide primary staff leadership for the financial matters for all Greencroft Communities Boards and Directors in cooperation with the President. ____O. Take the lead in developing business plans, evaluations of new business opportunities for GC, including new sites and home care business. ____P. Serve as a member of the Executive Management Group and share in overall management of the organization. Responsible in all matters to protect and uphold the reputation of Greencroft Communities and those served, being attentive to issues of confidentiality, public relations and long-term planning.
Meeting the expectations of this position routinely requires work beyond forty (40) hours per week.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, Master’s preferred; CPA preferred; Five or more years executive supervisory experience; CCRC, retirement services, or healthcare Finance or Accounting preferred; familiarity with aging/LTC issues; strong written and verbal communication; and proficiency in accounting procedures and processes.
