This is a full-time/exempt term position lasting six months to one year.
The Digital Content Producer position will work under the direction of the digital content manager to assure successful launch of a new consumer-facing website for Vanderbilt Health (VanderbiltHealth.com).
This person(s) will work on projects directly related to the new web property as well as help assure business-critical web content work outside the scope of the new site continues without interruption.
This position requires a solid digital editorial background as well as demonstrated ability to work with clients and stakeholders, flexibility, adaptability and a teamwork orientation.
Â·Gather information through research and interviews
Â·Build web pages using content management systems
Â·Assure editorial standards are met, including alignment with structured content model(s), brand style, voice/tone, readability and literacy levels for target audiences
Â·Work with stakeholders, inside and outside the marketing department, to gather business requirements, assure those needs are met and progress/status is communicated clearly
Â·Other duties as assigned
Required skills and experience:
Bachelorâs in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
Â·Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in editorial roles
Â·Demonstrated ability to translate complex subject matter for lay audiences; healthcare experience strongly preferred
Â·Experience in use of content management systems (e.g., Drupal, WordPress, SiteCore, other)
Â·Familiarity with SEO content practices and web analytics
