AVIXA is seeking an instructional graphic designer to work in collaboration with the Learning Department towards the development and creation of instructional assets and infographics for digital and print media.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet with the technical training team to determine the scope of a project.
Develop ideas and concepts and present them in a professional, visual manner.
Supervise subcontractors who create vector graphics, animations and short video segments.
Identify and maintain those subcontractor relationships.
Create storyboards from scripts and through verbal collaboration with instructional designers.
Stylize education departments graphics and photographic content to be consistent with AVIXA branding.
Procure technical photographs and graphics permissions from manufacturers and members and manage those relationships and permissions.
Incorporate changes recommended by the Creative Director and/or project leads.
Integrate final products into the learning management system or final curriculum collateral for team delivery.
Travel as needed to assist at InfoComm tradeshow and other events.

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.Experience Level:
5 years’ experience performing the duties and responsibilities outlined.Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud including: InDesign, Illustrator, Animate, Aftereffects and Photoshop. Familiarity working with long documents in InDesign and strong editing abilities in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Vector graphics creation and editing.
Artistic Sketches and 3D/perspective renderings.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Has a good understanding of typography, composition, and color theory.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to create gaming graphics.
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for animation, or creating interactive, multi-state objects within Captivate and/or Premier.
