Spider Club's mission is to raise funds in support of the student-athlete experience at the University of Richmond. The intern position is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in careers working in non-profit fundraising, collegiate athletics, donor relations and stewardship, sales and marketing, and communications.
Assist Spider Club staff in general athletic fundraising activities as directed
Provide research assistance on best practices at other Division 1 programs
Proof read, edit, or create communication pieces as directed
Assist with game day preparations
Donor event production assistance as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information
Undergraduate college student
Experience in social media marketing
Experience with fundraising and event ticketing software i.e. Paciolan, PacFund, The Raiser's Edge
General knowledge of Division 1 NCAA collegiate athletics
Part-time, temporary, non-exempt position
10 hours per week @ $15.00 per hour
