Assists in the development of more complex and/or higher profile internal communication materials (newsletters, announcements, executive messages and presentations, videos, intranet pages, education/training material, annual and interim business reports) and events, broadening knowledge and further developing skills. Acts as a liaison to external communications service providers. May assist in providing communication consultation to internal departments. May also provide limited support for external communication (media relations, press releases, internet pages).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with background research and content development for varying types of communication.
Supports communications needs of corporate operations and/or designated business groups and departments.
Engages in the development and execution of communications plans and programs.
Coordinates a variety of specialized communication responsibilities.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of four to 6 years of relevant experience and/or training. Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages. Conducts intermediate financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and intermediate to advanced knowledge of additional Microsoft Office Suite applications. Basic to advanced knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop and Acrobat. Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications is also preferred.
