Position Summary: The department of Marketing & Public Relations of Yeshiva University is seeking a Public Relations Associate for publicity and writing efforts. Functions include writing marketing collateral and publications, and managing web content and social media components.
Write and edit copy for multiple platforms, such as YU News, social media, marketing collateral/ brochures, etc.
Work with external PR agencies to pitch stories and track media coverage,
Assist with photo/video shoots
Other media relations tasks as assigned
Experience & Educational Background:
Previous experience writing for web sites and ability to write for diverse audiences
Familiarity with Jewish community a plus
Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
