This position is located in the Undergraduate Leadership Minor, Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota in partnership with the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development and the Humphrey Institute for Public Affairs. This position will report to the Leadership Minor Coordinator.
The employee provides the following support: ? Teach Personal Leadership in the University LEAD1961W, including but not limited to grading student work, facilitating classroom discussions, and mentoring Leadership Minor Interns ? Meet with students outside of class for one-to-ones, office hours, and to provide feedback and informal advising ? Attend all mandatory meetings and training ? Utilize program curriculum resources (lesson plans and Moodle site) to create an interactive learning experience for students, offering feedback to the program for continued refinement of curricular strategies ? Continue personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field, and broaden knowledge and expertise

Minimum Qualifications: ? Master’s Degree or higher ? Completed semester-long Undergraduate Leadership Minor or summer Engaging Young Leaders training program at the University of Minnesota ? Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality instruction to a diverse student body
Preferred Qualifications: ? College/University-level teaching experience ? Distinguished program of research
