The Executive Director, University Communications is a leader in the Office of Strategic Communications & Public Affairs, reporting to the Associate Chancellor. This professional develops opportunities and drives communications programs that advance UCI's goals and priorities while enhancing and protecting the university's reputation and brand. This position plays a critical role in generating greater understanding, influence and engagement among multiple constituencies. This professional leads a team that addresses the university's achievements, opportunities, critical issues and high-visibility crises through a broad range of public relations activities, including media relations, editorial content, and executive, internal and crisis communications.
