Salary: Competitive London-based Recruitment running from 3rd April 2017 2nd May 2017 This role is pivotal to the Bank's ongoing compliance with the regime, providing data analysis and reconciliation in relation to the Senior Manager and Certified Persons populations across the organisation as well as managing a key internal communications channel. This role also supports our regulatory reporting efforts, by monitoring progress of potential conduct breaches with relevant stakeholders. The role holder will also assist the Head, BRA-IA in delivery of a various aspects of the team's agenda.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Data analysis and reconciliation as an assurance check of population management of our in-scope Senior Managers and Certified Persons. 2. Monitoring of investigations to close out with key stakeholders in HR and Compliance. Support the Director, BRA-IA in ensuring timely submission of all reportable breaches to the regulators. 3. Provision of relevant data into the quarterly BRA-IA dashboard for the Group Chief Executive, giving a clear picture of our compliance with the regime, including material issues. 4. Day-to-day management of the centralised email account for regime queries and conduct notificationsallocating responses to the appropriate individuals and ensuring that queries are responded to in a timely manner. 5. Support the Head, BRA-IA on delivering a wide range of activities around the regime and ensuring team effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills
An understanding of Individual Accountability Regime in order to support the team and the Group to remain compliant with the regime. Understanding of UK and European regulation and the FCA/PRA regulatory framework is desirable;
Proficient understanding of the following: Certified Persons Regime, Senior Managers Regime, Material Risk Takers (particularly within the Group and how MRTs are identified), Fit for Hire Process and Conduct Breach Process.
Understanding of the Certified Persons Identification Framework and how this is used to identify the Certified Persons population.
Strong networking abilities and previous experience in partnering with HR/Recruitment and Compliance Teams .
Strong analytical skills required. Previous experience within high volume data reconciliation and validation is essential.
Experience in working with offshore teams.
Excellent organisation skills, with ability to multi-task;Previous experience of data management or operations an advantage (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
An eye for detail. Ability to spot errors and question inconsistencies in data.
Strong oral and written communication skills - ability to present technical information clearly and concisely;
Flexibility - comfortable to switch priorities at short notice to respond to urgent needs
