Our client a leading player in the financial services sector is looking for an experienced employee communications professional, with current/recent experience in the Banking sector (preferably wholesale/investment or commercial banking). Reporting into the global head of comms for the business, you will have a broad employee comms role which involves both strategy and delivery.
You will be responsible for
Developing and implementing employee communications programmes and campaigns
Ensure that messages and strategic themes are clear
Provide creative and strategic counsel to senior stakeholders and business leaders, providing timely advice, insight and measurement to ensure their communications resonate with audiences.
Maintaining oversight of and providing employees communications support and counsel for regulatory programme communication activity
Creating content across a variety of channels and formats
Source and provide relevant stories to feed the local, regional and global channels.
Mobilise employees across business by delivering key messages through appropriate programmes and channels.
Monitor quality of employee communications delivery within the global business.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Solid current/recent senior level experience in employee communications gained in the Banking sector (from the investment/wholesale or commercial banking)
Experience working across a variety of internal comms channels
Experience working in comms in large, complex organisations
proven track record in developing, managing and implementing employee communication plans
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience implementing communications plans in an international environment
Strong writing skills
Experience in handling crisis communications
