The MD-PhD Program Specialist will focus on increasing national recognition, expanding outreach programs, utilizing web-based programs and social media, developing/managing student programming, and tracking outcomes for the MD-PhD Program. Responsibilities for this position will bridge all aspects of daily administration of the MD-PhD Program, including: admissions, recruitment, grant administration, student programming, policy implementation, workshop development, data management and analysis, and financial management. Additionally, this position will assist in the development and support of special projects as needed. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of the MD-PhD Program and is expected to become an integral and valued member of the program's administrative and leadership teams.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Excellent time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to be proactive and think strategically
Master's degree or higher preferred
Five years of related experience preferred
Knowledge of graduate training programs.
Experience writing, submitting, and managing grants
Familiarity with and ability to understand and interpret a broad range of university and program policies and procedures
Experience with social media presence management, website design/maintenance, newsletter design/publication, or community outreach/public relations
Data/information gathering and analysis experience
Proven customer service skills
