The Department of Communication in the School of the Arts at Indiana University Northwest is searching for an Assistant Professor of Communication, with a specialty in Public Relations. This position is a full-time, 10-month, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students a variety of theory and applied courses, in face-to-face and online modalities, in the Department of Communication of the Indiana University Northwest's School of the Arts.
For this 10-month appointment, the successful candidate will generally teach three courses per semester, engage in active research and publication, and provide service to the department, the campus, the discipline, and the community. The successful candidate will participate in curricular development, implementation and program assessment and evaluation, and will advise and mentor students and Communication-related student organizations.
