Oxbridge Academy, a non-profit, independent grade 9-12 school in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a Director of Admissions who will play a lead role in ensuring that Oxbridge continues to identify and attract mission appropriate students. This opportunity calls for an experienced and entrepreneurial admissions professional who is excited by the opportunity to continue to grow a talented 515 student grade 9-12 student body.
Oxbridge Academy was founded in 2011 by William I. Koch, CEO and founder of Oxbow Carbon. Mr. Koch graduated from Culver Military Academy in Indiana before earning his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from M.I.T. Mr. Koch’s father also attended M.I.T. thanks to the support of a generous benefactor. In a sense, Oxbridge Academy represents a grateful son’s effort to “pay it forward” in two primary ways. Oxbridge provided the region with the unique and exceptional high school educational experience it needed. Oxbridge also offers an outstanding financial aid program to open this opportunity to a diversity of students, with 43% of current students receiving some form of financial aid.
As an integral member of the senior administrative team, the Director is the lead ambassador for the school and provides leadership and strategic direction on issues related to student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, including retention and financial aid.
