Gonzaga University is seeking a highly professional and experienced individual for the position of Admissions Specialist, Virtual Campus. The position requires a person with advanced interpersonal communication skills, sales, admissions, counseling, or program enrollment experience, a collaborative work style, and strong organizational abilities. The Gonzaga Virtual Campus is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and servicing distance delivery of academic programs and courses at Gonzaga University. The Admissions Specialist, Virtual Campus is responsible for identifying, mentoring, and recruitment of academically qualified students into online graduate programs at Gonzaga University, in accordance with the mission of the University. The Admissions Specialist, Virtual Campus establishes and maintains personal and professional interaction with prospective students interested in one of the online graduate programs offered by Gonzaga University. The successful candidate contributes to the institutional goal of increased overall enrollment by working as a member of a dynamic recruitment team for the benefit of students, online programs and University. Additionally, the individual works closely with the administration and faculty of online programs to ensure that all applicants meet or exceed stated academic admission criteria.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited post secondary institution.
Two years' experience in admissions, sales, marketing, public relations, program enrollment or a related area with preference given to sales experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of customer service
Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain records and files.
Ability to work in an environment that requires self-direction and motivation
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Familiarity with online programs and the needs of graduate students.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to work under time pressures and deadlines.
