Dunwoody College of Technology is searching for a Print Services Supervisor to manage our in house print services department from design to finished product. As a key member of the College's Marketing Department you will serve as an in-house graphic designer for the College, managing, prioritizing and completing incoming requests for design projects. You will be responsible for providing internal and external customers with high quality, timely print jobs and creating new (or modify) original customer files to conform to current Print Services technical capabilities with the goal of growing the external customer base for the print services department.
Skilled at using the Adobe Creative Cloud design tools to produce brochures, posters, digital displays, flyers and other publications.
Estimate cost for incoming/proposed print projects
Bill all completed projects
Manage print services budget
Manage collections of unpaid service accounts
Manage print services student workers and other hourly workers as required
Manage the customer service desk by responding to customers requests in an efficient and professional manner. Responsible for prioritizing and assigning requests as they come in.
Operate all digital equipment, iGen4, Konica 1051, Wide format equipment, and the Rimage CD and DVD printer.
Operate the cutter, folder, and finishing equipment whenever needed to complete a project.
Create print ready projects using Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Office.
Ensure design requests are well developed, follow brand standards and are completed by deadline.
Work with other members of the Marketing Department to produce unique and innovative designs.
Provide creative guidance and advice on a variety of design-related marketing projects.
Organize and maintain a file system and database for all digital job files for efficient archiving and retrieval of completed jobs.
Oversees and trains student workers.
Assign customer requested printing jobs to student workers.
Help student workers troubleshoot problem jobs.

2-year degree in graphic design, or 2 years work experience.
Xerox certified iGen operator
Managerial experience of training
Demonstrated proficiency creating print ready design projects and running digital printing equipment.
Strong Mac and PC skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work 40 hours per week
