The Asian Health Coordinator will meet with Asian physician offices both affiliated and non-affiliated with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC)to build relationships with them and NBIMC, and maintain positive relationships with high levels of satisfaction with referring health care professionals by effectively communicating Barnabas Health products and services. The Asian Health Coordinator will serve as a personal contact for the Asian physicians and their office managers, and will also serve as a patient navigator for the Asian population visiting NBIMC affiliated offices and/or when patients visit for admission or ancillary services. The Asian Health Coordinator will act as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Asian community and will work closely with the Public Relations Department to create educational activities, events, and special projects for the Asian community. Fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese required, Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Health or Health Related Field is preferred Experience in Health care Setting preferred.
