Summary of Duties: Perform work using knowledge and experience specific to marketing, development, and delivery of events and conferences. In consultation with supervisor and conference leads, develop and manage communication messages for participants and potential participants using eBlast software, various social media platforms, website development and registration software, and paper-based communication delivery methods. Advise program participants, leaders, students, and/or the public regarding program content, policies, procedures, and learning activities. Coordinate, schedule, and monitor program delivery logistics. Implement these programs in the most efficient, cost-effective, and professional manner possible. Complete multiple team and independent projects on short timelines in a fast-paced environment with utmost professionalism.
Required Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent and three (3) years of work experience involving public contact such as secretarial, sales promotion, setting up conferences, public information, or in the hospitality industry; OR equivalent education/experience.
