The Content Specialist reports to the Executive Director of Marketing for Petrocelli College. Working closely with the Executive Director, the incumbent creates print and web marketing, advertising and communications materials, and manages print and web writing projects, that drive key business and academic objectives.
1.Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, English, Journalism, and/or Communications, is preferred.
2.Five or more years of experience writing marketing copy for the web and print.
3.Ability to create written content about a wide array of topics.
4.Experience leveraging keyword density standards to write copy.
5.Proven ability to follow style guidelines consistently.
6.Extreme attention to detail.
7.Basic knowledge of SEO writing and keyword search.
8.Experience working with content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal).
9.Submission of web content and print writing projects will be required from applicants during the final interview stage.
10.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
