The Audiovisual Specialist for Digital Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating graphics content (plan, design, edit and execute graphics, including motion graphics packages) for the social media platforms of Texas A&M Athletics. The position will also collaborate with 12th Man Productions leadership and staff to work with and expand department brand guidelines while producing exciting and engaging content that will greatly impact Texas A&M Athleticsâ™ social media presence..
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of experience shooting/editing video and creating multimedia content.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High proficiency working in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Basic knowledge of editing programs and production. Interviewing skills.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Other Requirements or Other Factors:
Must have portfolio of post-production graphics and motion graphics to show in an interview.
Some nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to complete assigned duties.
Preferred Education and Experience
Three years of experience designing and producing graphics, including motion graphics, preferably in a collegiate sports environment.
Experience and background in sports.
Experience in graphic design made for heavy social media consumption.
Experience in capturing and editing video for social consumption.
Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised.
Assists in the supervision and tutelage of a student workforce to help execute content.
Builds relationships with coaches and staff to help address needs for front-facing social media content
Works under the supervision of the Director of Digital Strategy and in collaboration with 12th Man Productions management and staff to design and produce high-impact graphics (including motion graphics) for Texas A&M Athleticsâ™ social media channels.
Maintains an awareness of social and digital trends and best practices. Performs other duties as assigned.
