To assist the Director of Enrollment Operations with support of the recruitment and new student enrollment efforts for traditional undergraduate, weekend and evening college, and graduate areas. This position oversees admission database records and print communication flows for all new student populations. Through the use of technology this position will assist in the implementation of workflows, processes, and procedures to ensure peak efficiency and data integrity in the new student enrollment process. The position will supervise the Admission Data Specialist team members along with the day to day processing of inquiries, applications and supporting documents to support realization of institutional enrollment goals and advise recruitment related decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with the direct mail sequence to support new student recruitment efforts throughout the admissions funnel.
Collaboratez with various Directors and Associate Directors of Admission to support the recruitment, outreach, and admission efforts for the various university programs.
Responsible for supervising the Admission Data Specialist team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all inquiries, applications and enrolled students into the CRM and SIS.
Partners with other Enrollment Services and University staff, as needed, in coordination, development, and promotion of prospect communication through the CRM.
Assists the Director in management of the operational flow of the office to ensure the office performs at peak efficiency.
Works with and supports other student centered departments on campus to ensure that their applicant related data needs are met to be able to serve the incoming student.
Partners with Director and OIT staff on operational database issues and enhancements to promote efficiency in the new student enrollment efforts.
Trains and supervises operations staff members. Supervise 3 full time staff as well as seasonal temporary staff and student workers. Responsible for annual reviews and time card approval.
Assists with the notification process for the recipients of the University Merit Award process.
Assists with coding and inputting to ensure internal deadlines are met.
Performs data clean-up and analysis ongoing
Other Duties and and Responsibilities:
Actively participates in staff and other planning meetings.
Maintains close communication with Admission (TUG, Grad, Weekend, Online) team members within Enrollment Services and other campus decision makers.
Participates in professional development conferences (i.e. TargetX Summit.)
Performs other job-related duties, as assigned (including evenings and weekends).
Extensive understanding of the structure of college admissions and with experience working within student information systems, preferably with TargetX and Colleague.
Strong knowledge of import processes, databases as well as word-processing, and spreadsheet software applications currently used by the department.
Working knowledge of the higher education system, public, private.
Solid working knowledge of basic supervisory principles.

Supervisory experience preferred.
