Major Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, is responsible for assisting in the planning, promotion, and administration of a NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse program.
•Assists head coach with skill development, position techniques, and teaching fundamentals to student-athletes
•Analyze and breakdown film and scouting reports of student-athletes and opponents
•Monitor the academic and personal development of student-athletes
•Assists with competitive scheduling
•Assists with game strategy, practice planning and coordinating practices
•Identify and recruit Division I student-athletes
•Assist with fundraising and public relations activities to promote the program •Ensure compliance with university, Big South, and NCAA rules and regulations
•Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach
Bachelor's degree required. Three years of experience coaching the sport of lacrosse. Experience coaching intercollegiate lacrosse preferred. Ability to work with staff, student-athletes, and coaches from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work flexible hours. Must understand and apply NCAA rules and regulations. Must pass NCAA recruiting test. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational and computer skills.
