Gonzaga University is seeking a highly professional and experienced individual for the position of Student Services Coordinator, Virtual Campus. The position requires a person with advanced interpersonal communication skills, a collaborative work style, strong organizational abilities, problem resolution skills and attention to detail. The Gonzaga Virtual Campus is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and servicing distance delivery of academic programs and courses at Gonzaga University.
The Student Services Coordinator is a key member of the admissions and student services team; contributing to the institutional goal of increased overall enrollment by performing highly specialized and diverse responsibility of work. This position ensures quality control of student records, assists with application processing, and data collection of enrollment and retention statistics. In addition, the position requires excellent data entry skills, attention to detail and the ability to operate in multiple software systems to accomplish department goals.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited postsecondary institution.
One year of experience in admissions, sales, marketing, public relations, customer service or a related area with preference given to customer services experience. Experience can include internships or work-study positions.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to work proficiently within Excel on a daily basis.
Ability to work seamlessly and efficiently as a member of multiple teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Planning organizational skills, including the ability to maintain records and files.
Ability to learn and apply institutional policies and procedures.
Ability to work in an environment that requires self-direction and motivation.
