North Hennepin Community College, one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota seeks an experienced professional to serve as an Admissions Representative, MnSCU Academic Professional 1.
The Admissions Representative works with students both on and off campus, plans and conducts recruitment activities for the college, communicates effectively with inquiries and applicants; and projects a quality image in the community.
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or related field.
Ability to maintain a valid (basic) driver's license with reliable transportation.
Knowledge of standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets and internet databases sufficient to add, modify and protect them.
Ability to demonstrate strong public relation, presentation, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse population of students, staff, and faculty.
Demonstrated ability as a self-started with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Knowledge of customer/student service standards and best practices.
Knowledge of student development and student services.
Ability to speak two or more languages fluently.
Knowledge of ISRS.
Knowledge of Hobson's CRM or similar communication product.

Salary: Beginning Salary $19.03/hourly ($39,735/annually) - $27.53/hourly ($57,483/annually) depending on education and years of related experience.
