The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations is a full-time member of the Alumni Relations staff, responsible for alumni relations, volunteer management, and support of the overall mission of the office, which is to connect alumni with each other and the College and to encourage and support useful and active stewardship of all alumni.
Together with the other Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, this position will coordinate the Carleton Clubs program, which provides reginal engagement opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends of the College. The Assistant Director will also recruit, train, support, and recognize volunteers who plan and host club events, identify opportunities for reginal community building though Carleton’s online social networking platform, and work with volunteers and other campus offices to coordinate programs and events associated with the Twin Cities club, Carleton’s largest and most active club.
This is a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, benefit eligible position. Evening and weekend work as well as travel throughout the year are necessary.

The successful candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree and working experience in a related field.
