The Client Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day servicing of clients and account maintenance, serving as the primary contact person for all account-related client requests. This position involves frequent client contact and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
This position may lead to COO role as the firm grows. This position currently manages other employees performing client care tasks.
Day to day tasks include:
Provide day-to-day servicing of clients with a particular focus on client care actions such as new account applications and transfers, as well as other client transactions, including but not limited to: opening new accounts, closing accounts, transferring assets, facilitating deposits, withdrawals, account title changes, address changes, etc.
Resolves escalated problems related to client service.
Manages daily activities within the operations department and serves as an intermediary between the department and top management.
Responsible for preparing client reports and maintaining contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information, schedule meetings, and troubleshoot problems.
Measures, tracks and reports the results of key service performance measurements against firm objectives.
Manages, oversees, and coordinates the activities of all advisory staff.
Assures advisory functions are in compliance with all internal processes and procedures.
May also assist other advisors in the process of converting leads into clients.
Supervises operations staff in the performance of their duties and may be responsible for establishing or contributing ideas for department process, procedures, and protocols.
Responsible for overall general office operations, such as internal accounting, office equipment and supplies, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
May also coordinate firm's web site or other marketing tools.
A minimum of a BA or BS degree.
A certificate in paraplanning and/or a Series 65.
A minimum of 1-5 years in comparable client position within a wealth advisory firm.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Professional appearance, business etiquette and manners.
Strong computer skills including capacity to learn new programs quickly.
English fluency and strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent writing skills adequate for internal communications.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations; position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
